The Toronto District School Board in partnership with the Ministry of Education and the Independent Learning Centre is pleased to bring the Homework Help program to all Grade 7-10 Math Students.


Key features of the site include:
Ask a Tutor: Online tutoring by Ontario Certified Teachers Sunday-Thursday 5:30 pm-9:30 pm.
Listen and Learn Lessons
Interactive Tutorials
Teacher and student resources
To register, students need their OEN (found on the top line of the Report Card) and their birthdate. Students should choose a user name that does not include their own name and is easy to remember. Parents may register as guests.

Ontario Educational Resource Bank — A database for Teachers and Students

This data bank houses over 20,000 resources, created by Ontario teachers for Ontario classrooms. Entire units for MFM1P, MPM1D, MFM2P, and MFM2D are located in the bank. These units cover Ontario expectations and provide lessons, interactive materials, assessments, and more. Link to the Ontario Educational Resource Bank to check out this databank. You can get the passwords from your School Librarian.


A third resource was introduced in Phase 1 by the Toronto DSB to further support the grade 9 and 10 mathematics students at the 25 SSSSI and will also support the 38 schools participating in Phase 3, i.e. the Grade 9 Applied Institute:

Math_Coach_for_Wiki.pngMath Coach — One-to-One Math Assistance During the School Day for Students
A TDSB mathematics teacher is online and waiting to help grade 9 & 10 math students with their math problems, Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm. Students can communicate from school or home with a math teacher using interactive text chat, a white-board, headset and microphone. Click on Math Coach to link to this site.
